We understand that this is a difficult and confusing time for our young people and parents, so our web-page is designed to offer online resources, support, or sign-posting towards support, that meets the well-being needs of our school community.

Our Pupil Support department have pulled together some key well-being resources that we feel will support your well-being and day-to-day learning. Please look to our resources on having a positive daily routine to guide you in your decision making about at home learning. We feel that a priority of home learning and daily life during difficult times, is well-being, so looking after your physical, mental and emotional health is key. Please see the link to our well-being package below, which has various activities and supports all designed to manage well-being. We also have a Twitter page (LGS Pupil Support), which will be updated with short, social media friendly pieces of advice that you may also find beneficial.

As well as maintaining a sense of general well-being, we understand that within our school community we have pupils or parents who are struggling to cope with various difficulties in their lives. We also understand that COVID 19 will also add additional strain to daily and family life. For this reason, you may feel that you require contact with the school to seek advice or guidance on your child’s learning or well-being. We will shortly add a new email address to this site for pupils to contact should they require any kind of support. Should you require any support before this is up and running then contact the school on 01555 667520 and ask for Mr Munogee.

Useful Resources

Girls on Board

This is a new strategy being adopted by our Pupil Support team. All staff have been trained in this new approach which helps support girls with a range of peer relationship issues. The intention is to empower girls in such a way that they are able to resolve peer issues independently.
