Our classes take pride in their local area and often take part in Litter picks and planting flowers in the local area.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Friends of the Calder<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This one of Keep Scotland Beautiful\u2019s most proactive anchor groups for the Upstream Battle campaign, surveying and litter picking and running with our behaviour change training to develop a catchy \u2018glass litter\u2019 prevention campaign. The group was also awarded a Spring Clean Hero award which recognised the most significant change in their community. As a school, pupil&#8217;s and staff love to get involved with all these initiatives to help keep our Calder clean as it is a very valuable learning resource.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>High Blantyre Primary takes pride in forging links with local community groups.
