In order to get your school website set up, you must first create a glow blog, and allow the Glow team access to this blog.
Open Glow Blogs
Log into Glow using your normal details, and locate the Glow Blogs tile. Click on this and it will open in a new tab.
Create a Blog
The Glow Blogs homepage will show you the latest public posts from an assortment of Glow Blogs. Above this, there will be a button to Create a Blog. Click this to be taken to the blog creation screen.
Name your blog
The Name you give your site cannot be changed at a later date, so please think carefully about what you use here. It is advisable to avoid capital letters, especially as they could cause confusion in relaying the address (for example, capital I and lower case l).
Your Site Title can be changed at a later date, and is optional.
Allowing search engines to index the site will ensure that your new site appears in google search results once it is completed, so it is advisable to keep this as Yes.
The Site Type should remain as Blog, and you can then click Create Site to make the blog live.
Add New Administrator
In order for us to assist you with setting up your website, you will need to add our admin user (gw07southlanarkshir5) as an Administrator to your site. To do this, please follow the instructions on the Managing Blog Users page.
