Homework week commencing 13th November

Homework this week is:

  • spelling
  • maths
  • reading passport activity

For spelling, we are back to the usual 10 words.  LCSWC your words 3 times in your homework jotter, choose 1 activity from the inside front cover of your jotter to do and input your words to Spelling City.

Maths is an addition task.

For your reading passport challenge, decide on 3 personal challenges and record them on page 4.  I have attached a document below to inspire you.   The challenges do not necessarily have to be completed right away, they are things that you are aiming to do before the challenge ends in May.  Please also make sure that you are doing 10 minutes reading at least per day and record any finished books in your reading passport.  PLEASE NOTE THAT THE READING PASSPORT IS NOT AN OPTIONAL TASK, IT IS PART OF YOUR HOMEWORK!!

News Reporters week commencing 13th November

The news reporters this week are Connor and Alex.

Last week, Abbie created a fabulous Power Point about Storm Nate in America which originated in Louisiana.  She finished her presentation with a quiz which we all enjoyed.  Daniel brought us a really interesting story about how a new species of orangutan has been discovered.  This is the first new species of great apes to be discovered in 100 years. Well done Daniel and Abbie!

the park / project 31

this was at cambuslang park .  it was really fun and we learned about quarries and a little  girl fell off of a quarry  and died.  Sadly there are more sad storys.  And there are witches caves but

I don’t believe it parents probably just told them that so they don’t go near it.  Because children would be scared of that.  Me and the rest of the class took a picture on a rock.  and I was in the middle of every one and squished Daniel was in front and Mark wabehind me

Cambuslang park

we went to the cambuslang park and learnt a bout Qurries and there are three stories a bout  a little girl .who died the firs story is the little girl was getting her dad lunch and fell in a big deep qurry . the second story is the little girl was playing with her pram and the pram rolled a way the little girl went to grab the pram and fell in the deep qurry the last story is that she was playing tennis with her friend and the ball rolled a way she went to get it and fell in a big deep dark qurry she sadly passed away it is a sad story .
