Homework this week is as follows:

• Spelling – follow the list for week commencing 15th January – LSCWC your words 3 times in your jotter, do 1 activity from the inside front cover and finally input your words to the Spelling City or Big IQ Kids website
• Maths – one worksheet based on volume
• Topic – begin to work on your Space solo talk – see the information sheet that has been sent home this week to help you
• Reading –  try to read for at least 10 minutes every night – remember to record any finished books in your Reading Passport

Welcome to 2018. Today the remainder of us took a screenshot of our Christmas scratch screen and saved as a picture. We then uploaded to our e-portfolio and wrote about learning to change the background and speech within the sprite’s code.
Then we went on to Code. Only Charlie and Calum are on Course 3 and hopefully more of us will finish Course 2 in the next couple of weeks.

The only homework this week is spelling.  Please follow the usual format (LSCWC 3 times, one activity from the inside cover and input words to Spelling City or Big IQ Kids website).

A huge thank you to all the boys and girls and of course to all of you lovely parents for my incredibly generous gifts.  I feel very spoiled indeed!

It is only a week till Christmas!!!!!!!!!!!

What did you ask for Santa and are you on the good or bad list?

I completed course 2 on code I love code I play it every night  and my aim is to complete course 3

Over the past few weeks, we worked in groups of 4 to research, design and build a shelter for rainforest people.  We then spent time assessing our own and our peers performance during the task and sat down together as a group to give each other honest but constructive feedback.  Here are some photos of us producing the finished product.
