Yesturday me and my friends Carys and Neive went sledging but at one point it stared to rain and neive went home so me and carys went down a big hill and we went down it on our feet then carys fell off and went into the splits and I fell off to it was really and we went down somemore hills and we built a snowman by ourself then we went in to carys house for a drink and we watched some TV.

Yesterday I went sledging with my aunties names Niamh,Connie and Sarah. Sarah has 2 children named Milly and Mayson we went to my fathers house to get my slege and came home we suddenly found a big hill I decideded to go down it was super fun we done that afew more times I went to a near pack and played for maximum 5 minutes

Hollywood bowl
on Sunday 21st January I went to Hollywood bowl I played at the amusement’s I won lots of tickets and got prizes I got some moams white mice and a mug that says my name on it and I got a foam balls machine on amazon played with that I brung it into school today it is baby pink dark pink purple and silver glitter its so nice and I had a really fun day.
Going sledging
Yesterday I went sledging with my friends Grace and Jessica. At one point I went down face first on my sledge. It was fun because we went really fast down the hill. Afterwards we came in for lunch and we wanted to go out after. We couldn’t though because it was raining 🙁
Building igloos!
Last Thursday we took advantage of the wintry weather and worked in teams to build an igloo. We had to make sure that:
the walls were thick
the walls were smooth
there was a suitable entrance
it provided total shelter

Homework week commencing 22nd January
Homework this week is as follows:
- Spelling – The Big Mix – revise all of the words from your 13th November to 15th January lists in preparation for a 20 word spelling test on Friday. Spend most of your time revising words which you got wrong or found challenging. Use the standard spelling homework format (LSCWC 3 times, choose at least 1 of the new activities from the inside front cover of your homework jotter and finally input words to Spelling City or Big IQ Kids)
- Maths – we will be starting place value today so please play the games on the class Blog which focus on this
- Health – please complete and return the Feeling Good sheet by Thursday (all other homework is Friday as normal)
- Reading – please read at least 10 minutes per night and record any finished books in your Reading Passport – some new fiction and non-fiction books have been added to the Home Lending Library

Today completed an online questionnaire then we updated our e-portfolios. We did some Code then we learned a new program called Pivot Animator. Next week will be our last week. Don’t forget you can post on Mrs Duffy’s blog anytime.
