We visited the Bannockburn centre as part of our Scottish Wars topic.  We got to hold replica weapons, try on clothing, see 3D battle scenes, participate in an interactive battle, stand on the fields where the battle took place and view the amazing monument to Robert the Bruce!

Taylor Hill, Liam’s sister, came in with her coach to teach us some fabulous dances to support her in the STV Children’s Appeal.  We all had an amazing time and were so impressed by Taylor’s talent!

Due to the 3 day week, the only homework for this week will be the £1 challenge.  The spelling words which were scheduled for this week, have now been postponed due to the election day and will be rolled over to Tuesday 28th May.

Last week Hollie brought us the story that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex had a baby boy on Monday 6th May.  He is seventh in line to the throne.  He is called Archie but does not have an official royal title.  Thank you Hollie!

Last week, Bobby brought us the news that the trailer for the new Sonic the Hedgehog movie has dropped.  This animated movie, based on the game, stars Jim Carrey and will be out at the end of the year.  Thanks Bobby!
