Homework this week is spelling, a maths worksheet and games on Studyladder and a reading activity.  For the spelling, repeat the new method we have been using:

write your words three times in your homework jotter – remember a date and heading and underline

traffic light each word

use at least 5 in a paragraph/short story

spell each word aloud to someone at home – don’t move onto the next word until you have mastered the one you are on

 

For maths, we are moving onto division in class which requires a sound knowledge of times tables so you have one multiplication worksheet to complete and several games on Studyladder to support this.

 

For your reading activity, choose one activity from Section A of the ‘Reading Challenge Activities’ worksheet you have been issued and record it in your homework jotter.  You can base this on your home lending book or a book from home.
