Homework week commencing 27th September

Due to it being a short week, there is one maths sheet to complete which is based on rounding to the nearest 10.  This was covered in class 2 weeks ago.  You have been issued with a spelling grid to help with your spelling homework.  This is just a guide only as you need to find the strategy that works best for you.  You can record the strategies in your homework jotter if you wish.  Each Friday you will do your spelling test at the back of your homework jotter so that your family can see how you are coping with your words each week.  The spelling words are as follows:

Green and Yellow – Homophones

their

there

they’re

know

no

road

rode

right

write

passed

Red – words ending in ‘dge’

edge

lodge

fudge

dodge

hedge

ledge

bridge

judge

fridge

badge

    1. Yes it is Merab. It wasn’t written on your list because we only focus on 10 words per week but the other spelling of this word is ‘past’ which obviously has a different meaning to ‘passed’.
