The news reporters this week are Sam and Lewis Lever.

Last week, Liam brought us a story from Newsround that there had been another drone incident at a UK airport, this time Heathrow.  He also informed us that Newsround had created a guide on how to use drones safely.  Thank you Liam for this very current piece of news.

Lexi also brought us the story of the Vangunu rat which is a new species of rat discovered on the Soloman Islands.  The rat is as big as a dog and is 18 inches long.  It lives in the canopy and eats fruit and nuts.  Unfortunately, although it has only just been discovered, it is in danger of extinction due to it’s habitat, the forest, being cut down.  Thank you Lexi for this very interesting story.
