{"id":2625,"date":"2021-09-23T09:32:55","date_gmt":"2021-09-23T08:32:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/sl\/chatelheraultprimaryschool\/?p=2625"},"modified":"2021-09-23T09:32:55","modified_gmt":"2021-09-23T08:32:55","slug":"pupil-council-meeting-minutes-22-09-21","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/sl\/chatelheraultprimaryschool\/2021\/09\/23\/pupil-council-meeting-minutes-22-09-21\/","title":{"rendered":"Pupil Council Meeting Minutes &#8211; 22.09.21"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Points from previous meeting:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Our rights ambassadors told us about their meeting with the RRS group this month.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Main discussion points from today:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 In today\u2019s meeting we talked about what \u2018Community\u2019 means and how we are all part of the Chatelherault Primary School community.<br \/>\n\u2022 The children talked about the different groups that make up our community \u2013 in school, out of school and the different groups or clubs that the children attend.<br \/>\n\u2022 We discussed the importance of showing good qualities to represent ourselves in the community. The children identified kindness, respect, being polite, and caring for others.<br \/>\n\u2022 The children created artwork to promote these positive qualities within our school.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Focus Article:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Article 12 (respect for the views of the child)<br \/>\n\u2022 Every child has the right to express their views, feelings and wishes in all matters affecting them, and to have their views considered and taken seriously.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Action Points:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Children will have a think about what groups in our community might need some support and what we could do to help them.
