{"id":2133,"date":"2021-09-17T09:50:58","date_gmt":"2021-09-17T08:50:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/sl\/chatelheraultprimaryschool\/?p=2133"},"modified":"2021-09-17T09:50:58","modified_gmt":"2021-09-17T08:50:58","slug":"assembly-13-9-21","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/sl\/chatelheraultprimaryschool\/2021\/09\/17\/assembly-13-9-21\/","title":{"rendered":"Assembly 13.9.21"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1><strong>This Week&#8217;s Assembly\u00a0<\/strong><\/h1>\n<p>At this week&#8217;s Assembly we explored Article 3 of the UNCRC.<\/p>\n<p>Article 3 is particularly important as it on of the key articles that underpins the UNCRC and is one of the key foundations of the charter.<\/p>\n<p>Article 3 states:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">\u00a0&#8220;All adults should do what is best for you. When adults make decisions, they should think about how their decisions will affect children.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The children considered the following key points.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<ul>\n<li>Who are the adults they trust to make decisions in their best interests.<\/li>\n<li>How the adults involve me in the decisions they make.<\/li>\n<li>Are there any decisions made or instructions given by adults which the child doesn&#8217;t like but they know is the right decision.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>During the assembly, we shared examples of the children&#8217;s writing with each other and celebrated our Star Writers by giving out Star Writer awards and badges.<\/p>\n<p>The certificates and examples of writing can be viewed below.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/sl\/public\/chatelheraultprimaryschool\/uploads\/sites\/13973\/2021\/09\/17094959\/StarWriter-13.9.21.pdf\">Star Writer Awards 13.9.21<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This Week&#8217;s Assembly\u00a0 At this week&#8217;s Assembly we explored Article 3 of the UNCRC.
