Classes<\/h3>\n

At Black Mount Primary School, all of our children learn within multi-composite classes<\/strong>, and we see this as one of the great strengths of our school. This session, our classes are P1-3<\/strong>, P5\/4<\/strong>\u00a0and P7\/6<\/strong>. Learning alongside children of different ages and stages provides valuable opportunities for collaboration, leadership and peer support. Older children naturally develop confidence and responsibility as role models, while younger children benefit from observing and learning from their peers.<\/p>\n

Our multi-composite classes help to create a strong sense of community across the school, with children building friendships and connections beyond their own year group. Teachers carefully plan learning to meet the needs of all learners, ensuring that every child is appropriately supported and challenged. The mixed-age environment encourages children to work together, share ideas, celebrate one another’s successes and develop important life skills such as communication, teamwork and empathy. We are proud of the caring, inclusive ethos this creates and the many opportunities it provides for our children to learn, grow and thrive together.<\/p>\n
