Please register your child for school if eligible to start. Please note that the system will not be open until the 8th January.

School catchment area maps – South Lanarkshire Council

If you have any difficulty in identifying your catchment school, please email Edsuppserv.helpline@southlanarkshire.gov.uk

The online registration form will ask you to provide each child’s full birth certificate and two pieces of recent official documentation both containing your permanent home address for example a utility bill, council tax statement, housing rent card, child benefit documentation. Proof of where the child lives may also be needed. This information will be sent directly to the school office email address.

If your child attends nursery of your catchment school don’t assume that they will be automatically transferred. You must register them as normal.

If your child is starting school for the first time you must enrol your child at their catchment school in January.

If you wish to defer a decision to start school, the enrolment process must still be completed along with a deferred entry application in collaboration with your child’s nursery.

If you wish your child to go to another school, you must enrol in the first instance with their catchment school and ask for an information leaflet that provides details on how to make a placing request. An online placing request form is available from the SLC website – www.southlanarkshire.gov.uk or by contacting edsuppserv.helpline@southlanarkshire.gov.uk or phone 0303 123 1023.

Week commencing 15th January

Heather Graham, Headteacher, will call you to introduce herself, confirm receipt of enrolment and talk about transition.

During this week you will also receive a copy of the school handbook and other relevant information.
