These values can all be prefixed with the word \u2018WE\u2019, highlighting the Bent Primary Family which promotes working together. The artwork was created by Olivia Smith, a S5 pupil at Lesmahagow High School. Linked to this, we celebra<\/span>te pupil successes and achievements each month with a pupil from each class being awarded our \u2018Values Champion\u2019 award.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>BELONG<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">\u00a0We feel safe, included, and nurtured in our school. We value our community and understand the importance of working positively together. We are aware of our responsibility to be kind to each other.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>RESPECT<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">\u00a0We respect ourselves &amp; each other and celebrate our differences. We use manners, empathy and understanding to communicate. Our voices are listened to, and ideas are valued.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>PLAY<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">\u00a0We are curious and investigate the world with wonder. Play helps us to be active and healthy. We develop our social, emotional, physical, and thinking skills through play.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>SEEK TRUTH<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">\u00a0We take responsibility for our actions and understand why honesty and courage are important. We seek meaning through our experiences which enrich our understanding of the world.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>AIM HIGH<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">\u00a0We take aim and notice our mistakes as these are valuable gifts which help us improve our skills and understanding of the world.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>LEARN<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">\u00a0We actively challenge ourselves to achieve and realise our potential.
