Bent Primary is situated on Strathaven Road, Boghead. It serves the local villages of Boghead, Kirkmuirhill and Blackwood.

The school has 4 classrooms, a lunch/gym hall and a general purpose room. We have 2 outdoor areas and a trim trail for the children to use.

The school has a Parent Council and we welcome parent and community helpers in school. We are lucky to have a very good level of support from parents and the local community.

We have well established links with other schools and organisations within the local community and we regularly take part in local events.

We offer a wide range of extra-curricular activities including netball and dance.
