School Uniform

All pupils are encouraged to wear school uniform. The uniform consists of grey trousers/ skirt or dress, a sky blue school polo shirt and blue school sweatshirt. Uniforms can be ordered from ALJ in Lanark.
Pupils are also asked to bring gym shoes for  indoors and trainers to wear for PE.  For PE, pupils should wear shorts or leggings and a t-shirt. Whenever the weather allows us, PE takes place outside and pupils should ensure that they have clothes which will keep them warm – hoody, tracksuit bottoms or joggers.
As we encourage pupils to make the most of opportunities for outdoor play and other learning experiences within our school grounds; they should come prepared to be outside, with jacket/ coat and suitable footwear for the weather conditions of that day.
There are forms of dress which are unacceptable in all schools, such as: the wearing of football colours, clothing with slogans that may cause offence. clothing which advertises alcohol, tobacco or drugs.
We ask all parents to support the school by adhering to the agreed dress code.

 

PE Days

Monday and Tuesday – Primary 4-7

Tuesday and Wednesday – Primary 1-3

On these days, the children should come to school dressed in clothing appropriate to undertake PE outside.
