Each essential homework task is worth 1 point.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Additional tasks <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">MUST<\/span><\/strong> also be handed in on Friday!!! You do not have to complete them all, but remember you must achieve at least <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">10 points.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Essential Homework (6 points this week)<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maths:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.math-play.com\/Rounding-Numbers-Pirate-Game.html\">http:\/\/www.math-play.com\/Rounding-Numbers-Pirate-Game.html<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.abcya.com\/rounding_numbers.htm\">http:\/\/www.abcya.com\/rounding_numbers.htm<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Mangahigh challenges<\/p>\n<p>Studyladder challenges<\/p>\n<p>(The Mangahigh and Studyladder are the most important ones to complete)<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maths: Mental rounding to nearest 10,100 (and 1000, 1000000 for some)<\/li>\n<li>Language: Continue to learn spelling words. Write an INTERESTING sentence using as many of these words as you can and use good VCOP.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u2018Cious\u2019 words \u2013 conscious, precious, delicious, atrocious, suspicious, unconscious, ferocious, vivacious, efficacious, tenacious and capacious. SPELLING TEST IS ON FRIDAY!!!!!!!!!<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Find synonyms for delicious.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Language\/Topic: Research either Chamberlain or Hitler and create a factfile\/poster\/powerpoint showing as much information as you can. Remember to name your sources. (this is worth 2 marks)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Additional Tasks.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">4Points<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Oral Book review for Murray, Alison, Andrew H, Cameron, Demi, Christopher.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">2 Points<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Read for at least half an hour (get someone to sign to say you\u2019re doing this)<\/li>\n<li>Write an entry for our class blog. You can email this to <a href=\"mailto:mrsmaxwell1@hotmail.co.uk\">mrsmaxwell1@hotmail.co.uk<\/a> to make it easier and quicker to upload.<\/li>\n<li>VCOP a page from a book you have been reading.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">1 Point<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Slogan for Class Charter for Wednesday.<\/li>\n<li>Write up a fitness diary to show how active you have been this week. Are you surprised by these results?<\/li>\n<li>Spend 5 minutes talking to a parent about what we have been learning as a class with regards to rights. Note down and answer any questions they have.
