P3s have been working on subtraction and P4s have been working on doubling and written addition.

Language

Writing – we’ve been learning how to write instructions. We have been writing instructions on how to make a mummy.

Health

We’ve been learning about the importance of good hygeine and keeping safe in the kitchen.

Spelling – LACASACAWAC words twice and choose a spelling task.

Reading – new books given out. Read pages allocated in class.

Maths – worksheet.

Signs of Autumn sheet – we’ll discuss in class on Friday.

Extra tasks – Sumdog, RM Easimaths, read a book of your choice, watch Newsround, help cook at home.

Today we were out looking for signs of Autumn. We then used natural materials to create a work of art. We also found out what happens to all the leaves that fall from the trees.

Today we used the UV hand hygiene kit to see just how well we wash our hands. The results were surprising! We also made short video clips to show how to wash your hands. Hopefully we can upload these later.

Spelling – sentences for 4 of the words and one other task.

Maths – Sumdog. Aim for at least 50 questions.

Reading – free choice. Read for a little every night. Record this in your homework jotter.
