Homework

Spelling – revise all words to date. Look under the tab spelling words and you will see them all there. Also on spellingcity you can play some games to help.

Reading – you should be trying to read at home every night. Try extra hard this week!!!! Remember reading passports.

Growth Mindset – on your e-profile write about a time when something didn’t go to plan and what you would do differently next time.

E-profile – some are more up-to-date than others. Look at yours and see how to improve.

I will be issuing a times table challenge on Friday. It would be a good idea to revise your tables!

Recipe – find and follow a recipe at home. Try to include at least one measuring activity. Post about it on your e-profile.

Design a front cover for our yearbook. A4 size. Bright bold and colourful please.

Robert Burns

This week we’ve been finding out more about Robert Burns. We made up a fact file about his life and found out the meanings of some Scots words. £10 bonus class cash to the first 3 people that comment with their favourite Scots word and what it means or their favourite Burns poem and why.

SPACE!!!

Lately we have moved aside our Japan project to focus more on one of my personal favourites!
SPACE!

Now we have been learning so far about the 17 countries of the Esa!

We have been focusing on how to pick out and remember most of the countries in the community!

We also were selected to chose 5 items we would’ve chose if we were chosen to go into space!

This week and OUTSTANDING cast came in and preformed a tremendous show for us it was the primary 7’s last show they will ever see at hallside not including the show from our fantastic drama crew.This year the theme was Robin hood.We all needed to bring in our own sweets for the show because we had no goody bags.

Homework

Spelling – words are in homework jotter. Learn them for test in Friday. Remember it is up to you how you learn them. Orally, rainbow writing, speed writing – it’s up to you!  Get someone to sign next to your last score.

Maths –

Squares – dividing numbers by 10 w/s. Remember answers should be as a decimal not having a remainder. Also spend a little time revising multiplying and dividing decimals by 10, 100 and 1000.

Triangles –  Sumdog session. Will also give you  questions on finding fraction of a quantity.
