We took our learning outdoors on Wednesday. We explored our local area and discovered different signs of Autumn. We identified different trees from their leaves and estimated the age of them. We made our own Peggy Sue and sailed it down the river (with varying degrees of success) and even spotted a squirrel. In the afternoon we painted some tyres to make into planters for the school garden.

We made the most of the dry weather and took our Maths learning outside. We used different instruments and units of measurement and calculated the area and perimeter of things such as the muga, containers, outdoor classroom and bug hotel.

Important info!

Remember it is not compulsory to order something from the chip shop.

There are no fritters, pizzas are cheese and tomato, 1/2 pizzas are normal pizzas not fried.

Also we will have another hour on the bus afterwards so go easy on the fizzy drinks and sweeties to avoid sickness!!
