In the boy in the stripped pyjammas by John Boyne the boys become friends in a very unusual way.
\nBruno’s got a very good, luxuary life becuase his dad is the commander and hes not a jew.
\nSmuel has a very bad life becuase he is jewish and gets starved to death , dosent get new clothes, has no bothers or sisters to talk to in the camp, shmuels life is rubbish.
\nBrunos mum and dad have lots of money, his dad is commandant. The writer deals with his problem in a very approprite way.
\nThrough out the book, it becomes dear that brono that he has a very difficult life. Bruno hates his new house becuase it only has 3 floors when his old house back in berlin had 5 floors and now he cant slide down the banister.He only has 1 friend (shmuel) buthe cant go over to play. He had 3 bestfriends for life back in Berlin, and he had his grandparentd there aswell, but his grandmother is dead now.
\n“everything here is horrible , i hate this house, i hate my room , and i even gate the paint work, i hate it all.”
\nIt becomes very clear how angry Bruno is after his move. He hates that he had to move because he was ‘forced’.
\nThis is an importent way to deal with the hollocost becuase it shows that Bruno does not know how to handle the hollocost and whats happing.
\nShmuel has a totall diffrent experience becuase he is a jew, and he gets tortured, starved, next to smelly people on the train journey, no food, one window, it was stuffy, people dieing next to him on the train.
\n“There was to many people on the carridge for one thing , and there was no air to breath , and it smelled awful.
\nShmuels train journey was diffrent from Brunos because it smelled awful ,And Brunos was diffrent because it was luxuary.
