The time riders by Alex Scarrow
In 1912 at the Atlantic ocean a boy called Liam O’Conner should have died at sea, in the titanic but a time rider came called foster and said to him come with me so he did, because the titanic was about to crash and then sink. Then in 2010 a girl called Maddy carter should have died in a plane crash. But foster came and said take my hand because there is a bomb on the plane maddy thought he was some kind of suicide bomber. But luckily he wasn’t and was just trying to help her so was convinced and toke his hand. Then in 2026 a girl called Sal Vikram should have died in a fire. But foster again was there to save more people again. Anyway basically foster and the three other people are together trying to think about a mystery about the time travailing machine. They are trying to stop a viscous man in the world called Kramer and he has loads of gangs with him because if he finds it he will change things that have happened in the past. So that’s why the time riders exist to protect us. To stop time travel from destroying the world.

The two best friends Pearl and Rachel do everything together but when Pearl moves things change.

Rachel and Pearl where best friends since birth. They did everything together they always did the same things. When Rachel went on holiday Pearl came and they both loved the same type of food. They where the best friends that no one could separate until one day when Rachel got a phone call from Pearl Saying that she was moving.

Rachel was totally shocked and very upset. She told Pearl that she could stay at home with her but she refused and said she can’t. Rachel didn’t understand no one could ever separate them but it was happening. Pearl said she was moving in 2 day but she could write to Rachel so they wouldn’t forget about each other. Rachel was scared incase Pearl found a new best friend and forgot about her. When Rachel went to her house she was upset to say goodbye. She was so angry she shouted at Pearls mum saying she can’t separate them and she’s a bad person.

Pearl’s mum was really angry and asked pearl to leave. The next morning Pearl left her house and Rachel didn’t get to say goodbye. She was really upset and begged her mum to go to Pearl’s new house in the countryside. Her mum decided to take her for one day but when she got there Pearl had a new friend and told Rachel she was still her friend but Lindsay was her best friend in the whole world. Rachel was upset and went home with no friends at all. The next morning she went to school and tried to talk to other girls in her class. They ignored her because when she was Pearl’s best friend she was nasty to them because pearl was her only best friend and she didn’t like anyone else. Rachel was angry and wished she wasn’t nasty to the other girls so she would still have friends but she learned her lesson.

She was fostered when she was a baby by a lovely lady who had many foster kids but when they were 5 she had to return them to the hospital. When Hetty Feather went back to the foundling hospital she found it hard to make friends. She finally made a friend called Polly but she got adopted and Hetty didn’t make other friends. Hetty had many crazy experiences like running away and meeting her birth mother. Her mother, Ida, told her when she was born she named her Sapphire Battersea.
When she turned 14 she got a job as a servant at an author’s house. Hetty always wanted to be an author and was so pleased but angry because she hates working. She began to make friends with the other servant Sarah and the house chef Mrs Brisket but got into trouble with her master and got kicked out. Mrs Brisket gave her money to stay safe but instead Hetty went to visit her mother in Bignor only to find out she is terribly ill. She wouldn’t quit her job but a doctor came and put her in a special infirmary.
A family, the Greenwoods, find Hetty and take her in while they are on holiday. They are very kind but after their 2 week holiday is over they offer for Hetty to go and live with them but she wants to stay in Bignor and take care of her mother. She doesn’t want to go back to the hospital or to the greenwoods as she thinks its too late And she doesn’t want to beg for her old job back. So instead of going back she decides to go forward and have a better life.

Small Sam has being snatched by the grown-ups. The other kids are trying to get all of the other grown-ups away. The group  make their way across England  to a safe place that a boy has told them about. Going past old shop and houses making sure the grown-ups won’t get them and rip them up and eat all their insides. Will Sam get out alive or will he die? Will the gang get there alive??

“TO BE THE BEST, YOU HAVE TO WORK YOUR BEST”
Topaz is a fun energetic girl who loves to dance and in the book they describe her in there best words. In topaz exciting way of exploring life is to start a colourful dance school, but in baby steps.
But when you want to be the best to take big steps and that’s what she is starting to do. She want a way of making friends and learning dance as well but when she is falls behind she has to take extra classes with the part timers it starts to get awkward. She trains extra hard to be the best. In the book it take you through different experiences that topaz has to experience. But in the end there will be a faces off with the enemy but who will get this leading role.
I would recommend this book because its interesting and fun and toll definitely enjoy it.

This is a book about a family that live on Alcatraz Island with the most wanted cons ever. Mathew “moose” Flanagan is trying to get his sister in to a really good school on the main land but things get sticky. You should never mess with cons as moose finds out. I like this book because the book is very good at making you think you are there in the book you fell the fear the happiness every thing seems so real I love it. If you are going to read this book I think that you should read the first book.

In “My Sword hand Is Singing”, the people are friendly, some are quiet as some dead. The book is about the undead. At first, all seems nice, but then it gets worse as more and more people become undead. If it is not stopped by Peter and his friend, then I’m afraid it will be the end.
Peter is a young boy how has been travelling around the world he is the main character and has been wanting to go home he has to help his dad and cosin and trying to find out what is going on in the village the shadow queen which is taking people away and making them disappear like hisn friend anges. He then has to find a sword so that he can fight and kill the shadow Queen

Dervish likes to keep his ghosts happy!
Grubbs (the main character) has just witnessed something that no person should ever witness… Grubbs Grady lost his parents and sister to DEMONS! Dervish (Uncle Dervish) takes Grubbs home to live with him but what but what Grubbs doesn’t no is Dervish is a demon slayer and he knows everything about them. When he goes back to Dervishes house he meets a friend (Billy) but it turns out Grubbs father had an affair with Billy’s mother so they are actually brothers, but there is a disease that goes round in the family, they turn into were-wolves when a full moon comes then every full moon they change and there is only one way to kill the disease for one person each time… to face the Demon Master (Lord Loss). Lord Loss will play one person at chess and his familiars (Artery and Vein) will fight the other but if Lord Loss won he would take there souls but if he lost one has to go to Lord Losses and there body will just do the basics: walk, run, eat, sleep but not speak or have any emotions so that’s what they done just to get Billy back to a normal human being. They won the game of chess then Dervish went to the Demonata universe to fight, weeks passed, months and months passed. Grubbs walks into the kitchen and there is a voice “Hello Grubbs” he turns round to see Dervish just sitting there! HE WAS BACK!!

A little boy was found on a doorstep. And now he’s living with his foster mum. He finds four little foxes and he looks after them now he loves them so much.
Then he runs away and now they live on the boat with this man who has a boat.
At the last stop they stop at his house then they notice a police car outside his house.
And the man and his wife adopted him and they become a family.The police said to the little boy we were looking for you and you now have a lovely home now.

The book I read was called The Sorceress and in the London central train station and Dee (who works for the Dark masters) has put monsters at all the train stations and airport and police are checking every car all around the world, tiring to catch them. But a Genii Cucullati (flesh eaters) has spotted them and they started to run. Nicholas throws a bracelet witch turns into mud and the creatures are knocked out. They quickly runaway and meet up with an old friend of Nicholas’ he drives them to his house. On the way they past a lot of monsters that look like humans but are not. Once they get to the house Nicholas tries to contact his wife Perenelle who is trapped on Alcatraz by using an old bit of magic he gets to her. But creatures attack her Nicholas tries to save her by giving her some of his aura but his is to weak then the twins help but suddenly the connection breaks and creatures are all around them using their aura they gave their postion away. Theyquickly set the moat on fire ( they can do this because it is made up of oil and metal ) but dee puts it out then thet quickly get away in the car. They go to a little hut which is near stoneheage.
