At Kirkstyle ELC, the rights of the child are at the heart of everything we do. We are committed to ensuring that all children feel valued, heard, and respected. As part of this commitment, we are embedding the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) throughout our nursery environment. For Term 1, we have chosen to focus on four key rights. These rights will be explored through our daily routines, play experiences, and interactions, helping children understand what their rights are and what they mean in practice. Parent Consultations
Parent Consultations will take place on Wednesday, 19th November, between 4:00pm and 6:30pm. Appointment sheets will be displayed on the glass windows beside the playrooms closer to the date. Each consultation slot is 10 minutes, and you are welcome to choose your preferred time. Parents will also have the opportunity to look through their child’s learning journal during the consultation. If you are unable to attend in person, staff can arrange a telephone consultation instead.Welcome Back

Fixed: PDF Issue
The PDF Issue that recently developed on Glow Blogs has now been fixed. PDFs can now be uploaded as expected without any workarounds. Thanks to all the people who reported it. Glow Blogs has been updated to WordPress 6.8.2. This update is mostly a behind the scenes one, you might not notice much difference.Fixed: PDF problem
An issue with pdf uploaded to Glow Blogs has recently developed. Our developers are looking at the issue to create a fix. The issue is that pdfs uploaded to Glow Blogs are ‘truncated’ to one page.
