It was lovely to see so many of you at the coffee morning today.  You always bring a positive vibe with you and the school had a super buzz about it.

I hope the time to catch up and see the learning that has gone on this term was beneficial to you. We had mums, dads, aunties,  uncles, grannies, grandads and great grannies with us this morning- what a lovely family feel.

You helped the Eco Committee raise £282.65- thank you -this money will enable us to develop our recycling of paper, card and plastics in the school.

We have had a very busy day today thinking about keeping our teeth healthy and the snacks we bring into school.

NHS Dental service have been in presenting workshops to all children from Early Years to Primary 7.

At morning break- our canteen staff made up platters of healthy snacks- donated by Tesco and the Parent Council- Thank you.

Every last morsel was eaten the children really enjoyed all the food offered- asking if we could do this every day!

We had a great day yesterday during World Book Day. We were invited to come to school dressed in anything we enjoy reading in.

In the afternoon children paired up and found a cozy place to read a favorited book.

We have had a busy UHA season this year with visits from the Lerwick UHA squad and the NGUHA squad. Tomorrow we are looking forward to seeing the Lerwick Junior Jarl in school with his squad.
