We had our second week of drumming with Joy in the music room on Tuesday.\u00a0 We all learned how to take care of the drums and how to play them properly with the palm of our hands.<\/p>\n

We learned to say hello in a foreign language called Swahili – The word we learned was ‘Jambo’.<\/p>\n

In one of the songs\u00a0 we have to shout out our name and then everyone else shouts our name back . Joy wants us all to be able to do that for next week.<\/p>\n

At the end of the session\u00a0 Joy played a song and we got to dance. In that song we had to pretend that we were different African animals. We all had great fun moving to the music.<\/p>\n

Joy says that by Easter we will all be able to play a tune together!<\/p>\n
