They have been enjoying dressing up, reading stories, making potions and spells,\u00a0 hocking out pumpkins and finding spooky creatures in some very disgusting blue goo amongst other things.<\/p>\n\n<p>After reading the story Funnybones the children had a go at drawing skeletons. They loved learning about the different bones and feeling for them inside their own bodies. The drawing were excellent.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-4947 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/sh\/whiteness12\/files\/2022\/10\/IMG_0318-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-4949 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/sh\/whiteness12\/files\/2022\/10\/IMG_0326-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The children helped Grizelda the Witch with her spell. They put in lots of gruesome, unusual and scary things.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>There was great excitement as the mixture began to bubble up and the children said their magic words.<\/p>\n\n<p>The mixture bubbled over and the children thought of wonderful things their spell could do&#8230;&#8230;..<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-4933 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/sh\/whiteness12\/files\/2022\/10\/IMG_0368-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The children completed some writing using their favourite ingredients for the cauldron. These are from Primary 1&#8217;s.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-4936 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/sh\/whiteness12\/files\/2022\/10\/IMG_0373-rotated-e1667164176105-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/p>\n<p>They loved the opportunity to scrape the seeds out of the pumpkins and get them ready for carving.
