On Friday 19th November, P7 enjoyed their first Outdoor Day for the John Muir award they will be doing this year. They went to the “wood that thinks it’s a forest” in Kergord and had a great day exploring. As well as building shelters, they learned to make fire with a flint, the importance of “leaving no trace” and how to appreciate the benefits of getting in touch with Nature. Many thanks to the SIC Outdoor Team for taking us out. A selection of photos from the day can be seen below. Pete Richardson has also sent a link here for his photos.
