Over the winter some upper Primary pupils have been competing in Football and Netball leagues against teams from other Shetland schools.<\/p>\n

The Primary netball league has been running for a few years now and Whalsay entered 2 teams again this year. This was the first year of Primary football league and Whalsay entered 1 team<\/p>\n

This weekend saw their last games of the season with really good, close games in both football and netball.\u00a0In football they\u00a0drew with Yell and beat Ollaberry and Mossbank\/North Roe.<\/p>\n

In netball Whalsay1 managed to win both of their games and Whalsay2 played really well and lost out with a few goals.<\/p>\n

We are really grateful for the netball coaches, Natalie and Eilidh and football coaches Monty, Colin and Jordan for their support in the leagues and to all the parent volunteers\u00a0for driving. It is very much appreciated so thank you.<\/p>\n
