Congratulations are in order for Rhiana in S3 who has been chosen for an Engineering Summer School at Strathclyde University<\/a> in June.\u00a0 The course is open to S3 girls in Scotland.\u00a0 Rhiana put in her application in December after speaking to her Biology teacher, Miss Hull.\u00a0 She had to have her application supported by a reference from the school and had to write a personal statement.\u00a0 The course is designed to engage girls in a wide range of engineering challenges that will inspire them to become the next generation of engineers.\u00a0 We wish Rhiana all the best for this exciting opportunity and look forward to hearing how she gets on.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
