Yesterday afternoon, Staff and pupils organised a Fair and Community Caf\u00e9 to raise funds for the BBC Children in Need Appeal.<\/p>\n

We raised an amazing \u00a3414.61!<\/p>\n

Last Friday, pupils in Primary and Nursery\u00a0 raised \u00a3141.69, so in total, Whalsay School is donating \u00a3556.38 this year.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Prizes at Fair<\/p>\n

Blush<\/strong>\u2019s hobby was kite boarding \u2013 Faye Anderson<\/strong> was nearest<\/p>\n

Pudsey<\/strong> had been in New Zealand \u2013 Janet Leask<\/strong> was nearest<\/p>\n

The Pudsey Smucks<\/strong> smelt of pickles \u2013 Lori Sutherland<\/strong> was nearest<\/p>\n

The Christmas Eve Box and contents<\/strong> cost \u00a320.80 \u2013 Mark Williamson<\/strong> was nearest<\/p>\n

Michael Poleson<\/strong> moved most split peas using a straw<\/p>\n

Karis Leask<\/strong> got most pegs on the line<\/p>\n

Mackie Reid<\/strong> was fastest at solving Pudsey\u2019s Ping Pong Problem<\/p>\n

William Leask<\/strong> won the Ultimate Children in Need Showdown Quiz<\/p>\n

Bake Off Winners<\/u> (6 decorated cup cakes)<\/p>\n
