Congratulations are in order for Rhiana in S3 who has been chosen for an Engineering Summer School at Strathclyde University in June. The course is open to S3 girls in Scotland. Rhiana put in her application in December after speaking to her Biology teacher, Miss Hull. She had to have her application supported by a reference from the school and had to write a personal statement. The course is designed to engage girls in a wide range of engineering challenges that will inspire them to become the next generation of engineers. We wish Rhiana all the best for this exciting opportunity and look forward to hearing how she gets on.
