Mental Health Awareness Week

This week is Mental Health Awareness week and the theme this year is Kindness.

Primary classes have focussed their Health and Wellbeing lessons around this theme and as an extra to support you and your families during this challenging times I am sharing below a Resilience Alphabet.  It has been designed to build inner strength, wellbeing and explains about resilience, building resilience and what to do if things get too hard.

The Resilience Alphabet

It is a big document so no need to print it off unless you want to print page 4 as a checklist to tick off. There are some lovely activities in this resource and there is no right or wrong way to use this. You can try 1 a day and start at A and work to Z, go backwards or just pick a letter, it’s up to you. During these difficult times it is really important to look after ourselves, both physically and mentally and this resource might be a nice activity to do together as a family.
