The Christmas Card delivery organised by Whalsay School has again been very well used. We have sorted 8133 cards and raised over £2500, which is earmarked for funding trips within Shetland for Secondary Pupils in May.

We would like to thank all staff, pupils and parents who have worked particularly hard this year to ensure the cards were dealt with. Especially those people delivering, some of whom took away rather large quantities of cards!

You will appreciate that it maybe wasn’t a night to be delivering last night, so please don’t worry if you haven’t got your cards yet-you should have them before Friday.

It is great to see the community working together, and planning for the trips in May will be able to start in the New Year!
