Representatives of the charity SHOARD called in to Whalsay School recently to officially hand over 4 laptops for the use of pupils with Additional Support Needs. The local charity run the renowned Charity shop in the former school building at Brough. Proceeds from the shop go to support many good causes in the island including a long-term commitment to the ASN Department in the school. The laptops will be used to support literacy work in class.
