Robbie: This is a 4 legged walker.  The circle bit is the head and there’s 2 shooting bits.

Dhilan: Mine is a 4 legged walker and it can shoot 4 times.

Cian: This is a Star Wars Space ship and it can launch rockets and it has a laser at the front.

Alfie: My drone can do flips and it shoots out lots of bullets at a time and it also carries stuff.

Erland: This is scaffolding for painting. I am helping paint my Granny’s house.

Odin came to visit Tingwall Primary School today.  He is a Golden Labrador and is being looked after by Lois and Aylee (lucky them!!!)

When he is 1 year old, he will be trained up by Michael to be a ‘Dogs Against Drugs’ working dog.

He was very sleepy when he came to see us after being in the other classes and from having a big walk this morning.  He was going home for a sleep! 💤

Robbie – “He is cute and funny.  I liked clapping him.  He was so soft like a teddy!”

Primary 1 have been doing great work learning their new sounds and experimenting with letter formation.  Well done 😃👍🏼

On Tuesday 30th August, Primary 2 and 3 went to Mareel to watch a Screenplay film about Vikings called ‘Vik the Viking’.

Erland said, “There was loads of Vikings coming on ships and going to people’s lands and sometimes they would fight their enemies the pirates.”

Robbie said, “There was this buy guy Viking.  He had a big beard and an eye patch.”

Aimee said, “I think the film was great because it was kind of sad to begin with but it got really funny and happy at the end!”

 

We have been making the most of this great weather we’ve been having by spending as much time outside as possible!

Today we had our P.E lesson in the multicourt – here is the enjoying a game of Banana Tig and Cups and Saucers!

What a super first few days we’ve had in Primary 1/2 since starting back after our summer holidays!

It was lovely to see all pupils, especially our new Primary 1s, arriving at school with such big smiles on their faces 😃 Long may it last…!
