What a fantastic day we had on Tuesday celebrating the Lerwick Up Helly Aa.

First we had a trip to the street to see both the Junior and Senior Squads on their morning parade.

 

Thankfully after a wet and windy start to the day it dried up nicely and we got to enjoy a front row view of the Squads.

Then it was back to school to welcome both squads and their musicians to the school and we were in good voice when we joined in with The Up Helly Aa song!
