Primary 1,2 and 3B were fortunate to have a visit from local Author and Fiddle Player Jenna Reid. She read us her book \u2018Telescope, Telescope\u2019 and spoke about her favourite memories of a childhood growing up in Shetland. Pupils really enjoyed her story and liked asking questions about being an author, making a book and her fiddle playing. We even got to tap along a beat as she played for us. This visit is part of our school focus on promoting a passion for reading and our Reading Accreditation Award through the Scottish book trust. We thank Jenna for her time and for her generous donation of 3 books for our nursery and P1-2 pupils.
