Enrolment to Sound Nursery
Registration week for new starts at Sound Nursery takes place in February each year. Details of registration week will be advertised in local press and online nearer the time. Parents/carers should register their child using the online form found on Shetland Islands Council website;

If your child is already nursery age but you have a change of circumstances and you would like to transfer your child to Sound Nursery from another setting, please contact the school directly.
Enrloment to Sound School
If you would like your child to attend Sound Primary School from Primary 1, enrolment week takes place in February each year. You will be asked to complete an enrolment form and hand this in to the school office. Details of enrloment week will be advertised in local press and online nearer the time.
If you have a change of circumstances and would like your primary to transfer to Sound Primary School from another school, please contact us directly to discuss with the relevant Depute Head Teacher.

If you do not live in the Sound School catchment area, but would like your child to attend Sound School, please note that the following Placing Request form must be completed and submitted to SIC Children’s Services based at Hayfield House. Please ensure you notify Sound School once this form has been completed and submitted;
