Carpet Bowls
This week we played carpet bowls. it was really fun we all enjoyed it. Vaila said she enjoyed playing because it does not include running.
Ellen said its not like other sports because it does not involve much movement and it is relaxing.
SAVE THE TIGERS.
HELP ME. Sumatran tigers are dying because of- guess what?- Humans. I am flipping losing my mind.
The cause is PALM OIL. Palm oil is a substance found in many foods and bathroom things. Items such as pringles, doritos, pot noodles, Pear’s soap, goodfella’s (whatever that is) and nutella.
If you could stop eating and using these, that would be great. Thank you.

Bannock Making!
As a special treat on the final day of term, we were shown how to make bannocks by Mrs Nicolson. She modelled how to make them using all of the ingredients. The recipe can be found here:
(P6A – please note, the paper copy of the recipe says plain flour, but Mrs Nicolson says self-raising works better! The online copy of the recipe has also been updated to show the correct amount of baking powder).
Mrs Nicolson asked P6A to have a go at making their own at home too – if you have a go, post any pictures in the comments below.
See you all in 2 weeks – happy holidays!
