Leaflets 😽

This week in writing we wrote leaflets for the new Primary 1s that are going to come to sound school after summer. Some people wrote about the library, some people wrote about our school and lots more. We have a very creative class here in P6a so we had a ton of amazing leaflets! I wrote about our school. I wrote (and illustrated) about important people in our school. I also did a map thing of where to go, and get picked up at the end of the day. Square numbers.

Hello. I am Vaila. Today I will tell you about square numbers. (well, Dhanial and Ben I guess.. You’re not at school.)

 

If you can’t remember (maybe cats are controlling your brain!!) square numbers are numbers multiplied by themselves. (I made my own: Cat numbers, numbers multiplied by 1. maybe people that hate maths would like that..)

 

Anyway, We did a page in our maths textbooks (I can’t remember so let’s call it page dragon, because I love dragons sssssssssssssssoooooooooooooooooooooooo much.) On page dragon, Bill the builder (call him Bob the Builder instead) was doing something like putting down tiles for a patio and we had to find the square roots. (If you can’t remember finding the square roots is like finding the number you need to multiply by to get the square number.) that was hard to explain. So yeah. Leave a comment telling me if you liked doing square numbers!! (before we go, I’d like to throw in a joke. What was wrong about the flower in my maths class? It had square roots!! ha ha. so funny. lol. such a good joke.) OKAY BYE ^U^

This week for homework we drew a picture of a collective noun like a tower of girrafes or a caldron of bats and it was really fun because I love to draw and I’ve actually started to draw them at home to. I hope you like my post and you start drawing them yourself   -Ellen Smith

untitledHello! Today I will be telling you about reading. LET’S GOOOOOO!!!

In reading we have groups. The red group, The green group, The yellow group ( I like to call them the banana group), The purple group and finally, The blue group ( the best).

We do reading detectives too! I can’t name them all, but we do these activities. they have to do with our books. Oh, I didn’t introduce myself, did I? I’m KittenKawaii112, more commonly known as Vaila.

Anyway, back on topic, every Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday we read our reading books, then do  the tasks. My estimate is that there’s about 7-10 tasks? Could be more, could be less. My favourite task is the illustrator, because I drawing. That is all, subscribe like and comment, and remember, I will reply to comments so throw all the questions at me . Byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!

Interview – Marley

Marley is really good at gym, so I decided to interview him and find out why he likes it.

 

Q: What is your favourite part of P.E?
He said his favourite part is when we play dungeon dodgeball.We played it today in gym and it is really fun. You have to get the other team out by throwing a big ball at them. If they get hit they stand on the other side of the gym on a mat and their team has to throw them a small ball to get them back in again.
