We always enjoy time with our P6 buddies. Today we worked together to make big pictures of Elmer. We think they look fantastic and they all look different!

This afternoon we had our Family Bookbug Event when we invited our families into school. We read ‘One Button Benny’ with our family then spent time in class making our own model robots. We really hope everyone enjoyed the afternoon. What fantastic robots everyone made!
This term we gave started to use the ICT suite and we are really enjoying playing Sumdog and Teach your Monster to Read. It is tricky trying to use a mouse but we are all doing really well.
A letter from Santa, so special!
We were very lucky this afternoon when Barrowland Ballet visited bringing one of their best-loved productions, ‘Poggle’. It was a super production and we all had a great laugh. It was very funny.
Fun Friday has also changed this term, we have all been put into mixed stage groups which means that we are in a group with some pupils from P1a, P2a, P2b, P3a and P3b. It is great to play with different children and try out some new activities with different teachers.
As part of our Friday gym we took part in yoga using Cosmic kids. It was lots of fun and very calming!
We were delighted to welcome the author Lynne Rickards to P1 today. She read 2 of her books, ‘Skye the Puffling’ and ‘Rowan the Red Squirrel’ and we really enjoyed them.
This week we have changed how we do our activities and it is working really well. Each morning after we have unpacked our bags, we spend 30 minutes taking part in Activity Time. At the moment, all the activities help us to develop our fine motor skills. Everyone is really enjoying this new start to the day and the activities are lots of fun.
