Wow! What a week we’ve had in Primary 2A<\/strong> \u2013 we\u2019ve been busy learning, creating, and having so much fun! Here\u2019s what we got up to in our action-packed week:<\/p>\n

\ud83e\udd5e Flipping Fantastic Pancakes!<\/strong> \ud83e\udd5e
\nWe started the week by making pancakes<\/strong>, and let’s just say, some of us have a real talent for flipping (and some of us need a little more practice!).<\/p>\n

Pupil Voice: “I was really proud of my pancake because I flipped it without dropping it!”<\/p>\n

It was a great way to practise our hand-eye coordination<\/strong> and patience<\/strong> \u2013 important skills for life!<\/p>\n

\ud83d\udcda Book Week Bonanza!<\/strong> \ud83d\udcda
\nIt was Book Week<\/strong>, so we spent lots of time reading in the classroom<\/strong> and sharing our favourite stories.<\/p>\n

Pupil Voice: “I loved reading with my friend because we helped each other with tricky words.”<\/p>\n

On Thursday, we dressed up<\/strong> as our favourite characters, and the classroom was full of wizards, superheroes, and fairytale creatures. Even the teachers got involved !<\/p>\n

\ud83d\udeaa A Magical Door to Fairyland!<\/strong> \ud83d\udeaa
\nWe designed and created a magical door into Fairyland<\/strong> using our creativity and teamwork. This activity helped us develop our imagination<\/strong> and problem-solving skills<\/strong>, as we worked together to decide what Fairyland might look like. The children did a great job and P2A even won the door display competition!<\/p>\n

\ud83d\udd0e Character Hunt & Classroom Play!<\/strong> \ud83d\udd0e
\nWe had a character hunt around the school<\/strong>, spotting famous storybook characters hidden in different places. This was a great way to practise our observation skills<\/strong> and teamwork with our families. <\/strong>After, we came back to the class and had a play with our friends.<\/p>\n

\ud83d\udee1\ufe0f A Viking Invasion!<\/strong> \ud83d\udee1\ufe0f
\nTo top it all off, we had a visit from the Bressay UP HELLY AA squad!<\/strong> The whole school joined in, singing Viking songs with real energy.<\/p>\n

What a week, Primary 2A!<\/strong> We used so many metaskills<\/strong> \u2013 from creativity and collaboration<\/strong> to resilience and confidence<\/strong>.
