P2 have had a busy term in PE. We started with athletics, working towards sports day. Sports day saw the children take part in 6 events which were measured, timed or counted. They were awarded points for each event, then given an overall score which determined whether they were awarded a bronze, silver or gold. The certificates went home last week showing amazing results and great improvements from their P1 scores.
After that we did a block on Striking and Fielding Games. Here we used some of the cricket equipment and played games to develop our awareness in fielding a ball.
We have finished the year with games.
