Our school values this term are happiness and determination which have both been very evident since returning to nursery following the summer holidays. There are lots of happy faces everyday as the children experience the joy of learning through play while interacting with peers and staff.<\/p>\n
Here are some of the children\u2019s comments relating to happiness and determination while engaging in play.<\/p>\n
“I am happy<\/strong> when I draw and make things with my friends at the craft table.”<\/p>\n “I\u2019m excited<\/strong> because I have learned to pedal the tractor by myself.”<\/p>\n “It\u2019s great fun<\/strong> making magic potions in the mud kitchen.”<\/p>\n “I\u2019m smiling<\/strong> because I can go down the slide on my tummy now.”<\/p>\n “I\u2019m proud<\/strong> of myself for learning the days of the week.”<\/p>\n \n “It\u2019s hard work<\/strong> digging holes in the mud pit but it\u2019s good for making me strong.”<\/p>\n “I cut out my mask even though my hand was getting tired<\/strong>.”<\/p>\n “I have been busy<\/strong> practising<\/strong> my name and I can do it now without copying.”<\/p>\n “We made a house using the big blocks and it took<\/strong> a while<\/strong> because we had to look for different things to help us make it the right way.”<\/p>\n “I am working<\/strong> hard<\/strong> with counting the dots on the big dominoes.
