- we were experimenting with blue water outside
- we had sea creatures in the tuft tray with water, some of the children decided to add sand to it

- The Pre-schoolers have been going to the art room on Thursday mornings, this is helping them to get to know the teacher and the art room

- the children found lots of slugs in the garden they gave it a nice juicy leave to go on and a tattie
- we enjoyed pouring water down the long pipe and into the mud pit
- we had to use chairs to stand on when we built this huge tower!

- the Blue group went for a walk for a walk

- we had water beads in the tray it was fun watching them grow!
- they were so soft and slippery
- Mrs Firmin put real vegetables and soil in the tray, we had fun looking for them and digging them out
- the next day we used them in our mud kitchen
- We used shaving foam and sand to make cement! we then built a big wall!

- A lady called Ann Marie Anderson came into nursery to read us her books in Shetland dialogue
- the books were called ‘Da Ooricks’ and ‘Ooricks in da paet hill’
- After hearing the story some of us made peerie oorick pictures
- The lady brought all the materials for us to make the ‘Ooricks’ including real sheep’s wool, which the lady had dyed different colours
