We had a visit from the Royal Navy last week.\u00a0 They set up three stations for our class to work around.<\/p>\n

Station 1<\/strong><\/p>\n

We had an interesting lesson on submarines.\u00a0 We found out how many there were and the weight of one submarine.\u00a0 We found out what was needed to survive on a submarine.<\/p>\n

Station 2<\/strong><\/p>\n

We set up our own circuits and made a small part of the circuit fly into the air.<\/p>\n

Station 3<\/strong><\/p>\n

This station involved coding.\u00a0 The right code had to be added to make the Sphero balls move away then return.<\/p>\n

Pupil Voice<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

“The activities were fun!\u00a0 We made a circuit that allowed a propeller to spin.”<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

“It was cool finding out how heavy the submarines were and how you could get air out of salt water.”<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

“We learned how electricity works using the hot wire circuit.”<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n
