As part of our topic we have been learning about the importance of good mental and physical health.\u00a0 We have been finding out more about Mindfulness. We decided to explore the space around the school and think how each space could be used in a mindfulness activity.\u00a0 Back in class we designed out trails covering the infant wing playground, the senior wing playground, the wildlife area, the multi-court and the activity area.<\/p>\n

At some point later this term we are hoping to share our trails with other classes.<\/p>\n

MS\u00a0 \u00a0“Mindfulness is good for your mental health.”<\/p>\n

BL\u00a0 “It’s taking a break to wind down,”<\/p>\n

KG\u00a0 “It’s time to yourself.”<\/p>\n

MC\u00a0 “Mindfulness is time to think.”<\/p>\n

RR\u00a0 “It’s finding somewhere quiet.”<\/p>\n

RH\u00a0 “It’s chill and relax time.”<\/p>\n

We have been discussing meta-skills and how they help with successful learning, life and work.<\/p>\n

The meta skills we covered were leading, creativity and communicating.<\/p>\n
