Our topic is Water and we have been considering ways water can be saved in the home. We made water butts from plastic milk bottles.\u00a0 We then attached them to the fence around the polytunnel. We decided that was the the best place to put them as they were less likely to get disturbed. We were careful attaching them to the fence, making sure each one was upright and not at an angle. Lids were glued on ensuring they would not leak. Each day we have gone out and measured the rainfall. We will be using these results to make a graph using Excel.\u00a0 During our time outdoors we used our collaborative meta skills working in pairs. Rainfall gathered will be used to water plants.<\/p>\n
