Castles Rock Science Show

We really  enjoyed a visit from the Glasgow Science Centre.  They firstly presented a science show where they made us think about technology and history.  We found out about pulleys, stone arches and how grass, mud and moss were used to protect walls of castles.

Castles CSI Workshop

Then our class participated in a crime scene workshop where they had to collaborate with their class mates to solve the mystery of skeletons found in Stirling Castle. From the bones the pupils discovered what their job might have been and also where they came from!  Great fun!
